Stopping motion is a really interesting part of photography that you can capture using your DSLR camera.
You must use a fast shutter speed to stop motion.
The speed of the shutter is determined by the speed the object is moving. Most motion is stopped between 1/125 and 1/1000
You will bracket your exposures using the following constraints:
TV (shutter priority mode)
1/60
1/125
1/250
1/500
1/1000
