Social injustice is also the way unjust actions are done in the society. Social injustice occurs in a situation where the equals are treated unequally and the unequal is treated equally. Three common examples of social injustice include: discrimination, ageism, and homophobia (Farooq n.p.).Apr 14, 2016 .   Social injustice definition says that it is a situation when some unfair practices are being carried in the society. Whatever unjust is happening is usually against the law and it might not be something that is considered a moral practice.  May 7, 2015 .
Social justice issues occur globally, nationally, regionally, locally, and within groups. These issues are a result of unequal wealth and resource distribution, unfair treatment of individuals with differing triats (race, culture, sextual orientation, religion, etc), and laws that support segregation.

Some common types of social injustice students explored were:
Sexism & Gender rights
Sexual Preferences/Heterosexism
Racism
Religion
Political Sides/Parties
Ageism
Mental Illness
Disabilities

Some Common Social Issues that are byproducts of the social injustices listed above
Slavery
Bathroom use- transgender rights
islamaphobia- religion profiling
Environmental issues: Global Warming
Racial Profiling in airports
Sexual Harassment

Students will discuss various forms of social injustices and find or create a quote that will advocate for the issue they are creating a poster for.  Students will then take photos that will illustrate their specific cause.  We will create the posters in Adobe Photoshop by adding the slogan for the campaign they are working on.
